When we first joined the market in 2022, our goal was simple: introduce New Yorkers to the beauty of terrariums and inspire people to reconnect with nature through living ecosystems.

What followed exceeded anything we could have imagined.

From a Small Booth to a NYC Tradition

Over the years, the Union Square Holiday Market became more than a place to sell products, it became a place to share our story.

Visitors from New York City and around the world stopped by our booth to discover handcrafted terrariums, moss walls, DIY kits, and botanical gifts. Many first-time customers returned season after season, making Terrart NYC part of their holiday tradition.

From 2022 through 2025, we proudly welcomed thousands of customers and introduced countless people to the world of terrariums.

More Than 17,000 Terrariums Sold

During our participation in the Union Square Holiday Market, Terrart NYC sold more than 17,000 terrariums and moss creations, making us one of the most recognized botanical brands at the market.

This milestone reflects not only the popularity of terrariums, but also the growing interest in sustainable, nature-inspired living.

A Family Tradition Since 1984

While Terrart NYC officially launched in New York City in 2019, our story began much earlier.

Our family's terrarium journey started in 1984 in Venezuela, where our parents introduced handcrafted terrariums to local communities. Decades later, that same passion continues through Terrart NYC.

Today, we combine more than 40 years of family experience with modern design, sustainability, and education to create ecosystems that are beautiful, approachable, and long-lasting.

Our growth through the Union Square Holiday Market helped establish Terrart NYC as a leader in the terrarium industry.
