What Is a DIY Moss Wall Kit?
A DIY moss wall kit provides the materials and tools you need to create framed botanical artwork using preserved moss and natural elements.
Our large kit features a 10 × 10-inch wood frame and includes:
- 4–5 varieties of preserved moss
- Preserved flowers
- Driftwood and natural cork
- Florist foam
- Silicone adhesive
- Scissors and tweezers
- Gloves
- Step-by-step instructions
The different colors, shapes, and textures allow you to create a completely personalized botanical landscape.
How Do You Make a DIY Moss Wall?
Start by planning your design and positioning larger elements such as driftwood and cork.
Next, build your landscape by layering different moss varieties throughout the frame. Add preserved flowers and botanical details to create contrast, depth, and personality.
There is no single correct design. You can create a forest-inspired landscape, an abstract composition, or simply follow your creativity.

Does Preserved Moss Need Water?
No. Preserved moss should never be watered.
Unlike living moss or a traditional plant wall, preserved moss doesn't require:
- Water
- Soil
- Sunlight
- Pruning
- Ongoing plant care
This makes DIY moss art a great option for apartments, offices, bedrooms, home offices, and other indoor spaces where living plants may be difficult to maintain.
