What began as a family terrarium tradition in Caracas, Venezuela, in 1984 has evolved into a Brooklyn-based botanical company built by family, friends, and longtime collaborators. Today, our team shares one mission: bringing nature closer to people.

Charly Uzcategui : Founder & CEO

Charly Uzcategui is the Founder and CEO of Terrart NYC. With a professional background in Engineering and Geosciences, Charly combines science, nature, design, and more than 40 years of terrarium knowledge passed down through his family.

Charly leads the company's creative direction, product development, botanical design, business growth, and overall vision.

Yuvey Uzcategui : Co-Founder & Social Media

Yuvey Uzcategui, Charly's sister and Co-Founder of Terrart NYC, helps continue the family's terrarium legacy while bringing her background in Business Administration to the company.

Yuvey is primarily responsible for social media, helping share Terrart NYC's products, workshops, events, and story with our growing online community.
